1. Abstract Prepare per APA format 2. Introduction. a. Provide background information on the topic. b. Be sure to provide full citations for the information in APA format. 3. Description of the country. a. Provide information similar to the one in the Demographic profile assignment (Learning Unit 3) including population characteristics including age pyramid, life expectancy, health services infrastructure, birth rates, income distribution, and a brief overview of the country’s culture including official languages spoken. b. At the very least this section should include the information requested in the table provided in the syllabus. c. This would be a good place to introduce the demographic characteristics table shown in the syllabus. Notice this is not required, but it will help in showing and summarizing information about your country. d. Be sure to fully document the sources for your information. 4. Leading morbidity and mortality indicators. a. Description and analysis of at least four major health issues of the selected population within the topic you selected (e.g., health issues, insurance). b. This section should provide a summary of the nature and magnitude of the health issue you selected. c. This section should also indicate where your topic fits in regard to health profile of your chosen country. d. This section should also address four risk factors (what I have called major health issues above) related to your topic. 5. Analysis. a. Discuss the role of access to health care and the demographic characteristics of the population exert in its health status.
