Policy of work distribution between drug procurement team and meditech team

1- name and description of the item. 2- quantity received 3- expiry date. – when the required quantity is received and the system processing is finalized, secretary of the drug and therapeutic committee shall send an email for all medical staff for their information and to update Ahmadi hospital formulary ( supervision and approval of the assigned senior pharmacist of drug procurement unit is required ).

– The secretary of drug and therapeutic committee shall send an email to meditech coordinator to his action and senior pharmacist, all pharmacy sites including attachment of Drug and therapeutic committe approval decision of item with it’s description if there is any updating rules criteria such as deleted of item or build up new item that ready to be announced.

Also, the secretary of Drug and therapeutic committee shall send an email for meditech coordinator to his action and senior pharmacist all pharmacy sites regarding updating prescribing criteria that would be restricted to specific doctors or open to all medical doctors or changing prescribing criteria including change unit of issue item, brand name change, manufacture of item change. – When meditech coordinate made the changes and assort everything in the system then senior‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍ pharmacist of procurement should send an email to all concerned staff for their actions. – The assigned pharmacist of the item should inform the senior pharmacist of procurement unit before making agreement of updating rules criteria of item between meditech coordinator and senior pharmacist.
