This assignment is a poster for an MSc in Nursing Research
The poster has to be in one page and the references in the second, around 500 words.
I have attached an example of how I want it(Preparing Healthcare support workers to support learners in practice). Similar to the example the sections are:
1) Drivers
2)Evidence to support
3)SWOT analysis
4) Leadership
5)Pedagogy
6)Evaluation
7)Impact evaluation
8)Moving forward
Assignment: You are required to devise and then deliver a thirty minute poster presentation to your peers (and assessors/moderator) which critically explores an aspect of leading education in practice. Please note the assessment is NOT of your poster, but your ability to critically discuss an element of leading education in practice. You should allow a further 10 minutes for questions and discussion. The context/focus of the poster presentation will depend on your field of practice and/or clinical context. Possible focus may include how you would lead on the development of an educational change or the application of an educational concept or theory to the practice setting.
Helpful material:
Leadership Theories
‘Great Man’: Based on the believe that leaders are exceptional people who are born with innate qualities, destined to lead.
Trait: Through this approach critical leadership traits could be isolated and that people with such traits could then be recruited, selected and installed into leadership positions
Behaviourist: These concentrate on what leaders actually do rather than on their qualities
Situational: Essential traits for a leader vary depending on particular situations
Contingency: A refinement of the situational viewpoint
Transactional: Emphasizes the importance of the relationship between the leader and follower focusing on the mutual benefits
Transformational: Visionary who seeks to appeal to their followers and share power
