The aim of this assignment is to investigate, develop and reflect on planning a methodology to research a current topic from the perspective of Political Science. Research Topic: The impact of BREXIT on UK Politics Tasks for this Assignment: • Outline the situation and propose a research question (300-500 words: using reports, briefs, overviews by UK government and organisations, NGOs, EU, UN, International Organisations, Think Tanks, BBC, etc.) • Explain your research strategy (including rationale/justification, why are you doing it this way; methodology, sample, access) • Which qualitative and/or quantitative methods you would use (focus groups, semi-structured interviews, in-depth interviews, participant observation, biography/life story, case-studies, surveys, questionnaires, experiments, statistics) • Discuss rationale/justification, advantages and disadvantages for each methodological decision • Reflect on ethical considerations of this research
