Tell the story of a significant personal literacy event-Literacy Ancedote

Tell the story of a significant personal literacy event—a “specific, significant experience with writing, reading, and/or language” (Harvey 128)—from your far or recent past. Do not explain the event’s significance. Rather, use descriptive narration of actions, thoughts, and feelings in that moment to show it. And, remember, a literacy event need not be life-changing to be significant. It need not be immediately relatable to readers, either. It only need be memorable to you, for its impact on your understanding, identity, or relationship to literacy. Your anecdote should demonstrate your rhetorical awareness, reflecting careful consideration of audiences, purposes, and contexts Your anecdote should employ a first-person perspective
