2. Rapid Appraisal: Complete the Rapid Appraisal Critical Checklist of Randomized Clinical Trial in Appendix B in a word document and add notes.

3. Also, written Critique: Summarize the study by identifying the research elements in this order

(Authors, Year, Level Of Evidence, design, purpose, study variables, sampling, and measurement); then discuss your response to these 3 questions:

1. Firstly, are the results of the study valid?

2.Secondly, are the results reliable? and,
3.Will the results help me in caring for my patients ? (see Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, Chapter 5).

In conclusion, there had been randomized trials of various approaches, but they were all failures, says Williams, an emeritus psychology professor at the University of California at San Diego.
