Step One: Perform a web search and locate information on HEDIS, UHDDS, and OASIS. Step Two: Review the information in Chapter Five: Clinical Terminologies, Classifications and Code Systems and Chapter Seven: Secondary Data Source Step Three: Using the Table feature of Microsoft Word or Excel, create a table which contains information about 6 different health care data sets (Three of which must be HEDIS, UHDDS, and OASIS). The columns of the spreadsheet should be: Name of Data Set Purpose Primary Users Unique Features How It Is Used. Be sure that if you use Excel that the spreadsheet is formatted as a table. Use “Wrap Text” and other formatting feature of Excel. Step Four: Analyze the data sets in order to provide a comprehensive comparison and contrast of them including the pros and cons of using these standardized data sets in healthcare. Develop a two page APA style paper justifying the use of standardized data sets in healthcare. Step Five: Submit your paper for grading.
